Irish Cultural Centre announces return of Culture Hotline

The Irish Cultural Centre has announced the return of their popular Culture Hotline for a third series of free lunchtime performances by talented Irish musicians.

The Culture Hotline was developed and launched in response to the ongoing pandemic as with the ICC describing them as “a way of reaching people at risk of loneliness and isolation.” The concerts are free to access online or by phone anywhere in the UK and aim to help boost wellbeing and mental health. Audiences can join us from anywhere in the world by downloading a free version of Microsoft Teams.

The Hotline also benefits artists by giving them the opportunity to develop and perform a programme of their choosing, expanding their audiences and providing a context for live performance during a time when musicians have lost many of their opportunities to tour and perform.

During this third series of events ICAP will offer callers advice and tips for keeping well during lockdown.
