On Tuesday 10th December, at St Luke’s Church in Chelsea, the annual carol service in aid of Nordoff Robbins will play host to a number of celebrity readers and guests to raise funds for the music therapy charity.
Nordoff Robbins is the largest independent music therapy charity in the UK, dedicated to enriching the lives of people affected by life limiting illness, isolation or disability.
It supports thousands of people through its own centres and by working in partnership with organisations including care homes, schools and hospitals.
Its expert music therapists can help people with dementia reconnect with family members, children with autism to speak for the first time and give those living with mental health problems moments of genuine calm and peace.
To accompany their mince pies and mulled wine, guests will be treated to carols by candlelight, with festive readings from stars such as renowned TV and film actor of ‘Fleabag’ and ‘Sherlock’ fame, Andrew Scott and performances from The nation’s favourite tenor and multi-platinum selling classical powerhouse Alfie Boe, Composer, pianist, producer and one of the fastest-growing classical artists in the world Danielle De Niese, and Opera’s coolest soprano and multi-faceted artist Alexis Ffrech.
