Royal Trinity Hospice’s award-winning gardens will be open to visitors this Sunday 10th April as part of the National Garden Scheme Open Garden Weekend. The gardens, winner of Best Hospice Garden in London 2015, will be open between 11am and 5pm at 30 Clapham Common North Side.
“The NGS Open Garden Weekend is a wonderful opportunity for people to visit the beautiful hospice gardens which are in the heart of Clapham – a hidden gem which a lot of the local people are not aware of. We hope that the day will raise awareness of the garden which is just waking up for Spring.” said Terry Salter, Head Gardener at Trinity.
It is always lovely to welcome visitors from close by and also further afield, as well as welcoming past relatives back to the hospice who have the opportunity to come along and remember loved ones fondly.”
Admission is £2.50 for adults and free for children. Light refreshments will be provided on the day and picnics are welcome. Volunteers will be available to answer questions. Visitors will also have a second opportunity to visit the gardens at the next NGS Open Garden Weekend held on Sunday 22nd May.
