Shopping and dining destination Seven Dials, nestled between Covent Garden and Soho, is unveiling their brand new designs for this year’s Christmas decorations. The artistic installations, which will be lit on Wednesday 11th November, pay homage to the history and characters of the seven streets and their bespoke offering.
Designed by James Glancey, the decorations take inspiration from the heritage offerings throughout the streets. Establishing the gateway to Seven Dials, six hand crafted Christmas wreaths will hang above the streets from each entrance. Consisting of seven internal rings with a central branded light box surrounded by bespoke wreaths, which are classic cornucopias with a twist.
In between the gateway centre pieces, the streets will have decorations flowing diagonally down Seven Dials streets, continuing the circular theme with varying sizes of rings, antique copper lattice discs, twinkling lights, copper wicker stars, and flashing snowflakes.
To celebrate the start of the festive season, on Thursday 3rd December Seven Dials are hosting an exclusive shopping party. Over 100 participating shops, bars and restaurants and including neighbouring village St Martin’s Courtyard will offer a 20% discount from 5-9pm. Additional entertainment including live music, festive wreath making, bespoke engraving and a free cocktail can be enjoyed with with every ticket.
