A new Patisserie has opened its doors on Harrington Road, South Kensington, specialising in a wide variety of ornate Choux Pastries.
The launch is brought to us by renowned Pastry Chef Joakim Prat who came to London to work as Head Chef for Joël Robuchon’s L’Atelier. He then went on to Mayfair’s The Greenhouse and held the same position at Can Fabes in Barcelona, making Maître Choux the only UK pastry shop with a three Michelin star experienced chef at the helm!
Choux pastry is a light, airy dough that rises in the oven leaving the inside hollow, this is what’s used to make all your profiteroles and éclairs. It is a staple of every French patisserie and Joakim is hoping to introduce to Londoners in style.
Offering an assortment of éclairs, choux and chouquettes the pastries on offer look stunning, with a real Parisian visual flare. Some of the choux can even be filled upon ordering for maximum crispness and freshness.
Joakim is hoping to bring a contemporary twist to a classic French dessert, with the core range being complemented by regularly changing specials introducing new flavours and designs.
There will be a seating area coming soon with a series of specialty teas, coffees and hot chocolate!
